Praxair, 11 others selected for DOE funding
WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 2, 2009) — The U.S. Department of Energy says 12 companies have been chosen to receive $21.6 million in funding for carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects. Foundation member Praxair, along with partners BP, Denbury, and the Gulf Coast Carbon Center, will receive $1.7 million. more

Hydrogen Energy Awarded $308M for California Project
WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 1, 2009) — Foundation member Hydrogen Energy International LLC has been awarded $308 million to advance its California Project, located in Kern County near Bakersfield, CA. The prize money was made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and part of the Clean Coal Power Initiative.

Trailblazer the Latest Stop on "Factuality Tour"
Foundation member ACCCE has been hitting the road this summer, in search of real clean coal technologies underway. The group's "Facutality Tour" recently paid a visit to Omaha, home of fellow Foundation member Tenaska.

In their fourth stop across America, the group chatted wih Tenaska's Greg Kunkel about their planned Trailblazer Energy Center in Sweetwater, Texas.

About the Clean Coal Technology Foundation of Texas
The Foundation supports the work of the Governor's Clean Coal Technology Council of Texas — both with a mission to promote the use and development of new technologies that will encourage the continued improvements in air emissions from Texas power producers.
