Since 2004, the goal of the CCTFT has been to support the use of new technologies to provide affordable electricity and a clean environment in Texas. Our growing Texas economy demands not only increased electric power, but a clean environment. By supporting research, demonstration and deployment of the newest technologies, the CCTFT is helping to ensure that coal will continue to be used for electric power generation. The CCTFT supports the use of this abundant and affordable domestic fuel source.
